Students who build
Founders is Illinois' student entrepreneurship organization. We bring together ambitious students from every major, every year and every background to build, learn and grow together.
Through events, workshops, networking and mentorship, we give student entrepreneurs the resources and community to turn ideas into real things. Whether you're just starting to explore or already building your next venture, Founders is here for every step.
Events
We build UIUC's premier entrepreneurship events. In the last two years, we've awarded $20,000+ in prizes, worked with dozens of YC founders, and connected students directly to the Landuyt and iVenture accelerators.
Exploration
Helps students find and test ideas through ideation sessions, mentorship and resources for early founders.
Community
Keeps Founders tight-knit with socials, member connections, and a culture that works hard and plays hard.
R&D
The build arm of Founders, where ideas become working products.
